What Size?

A Tape, Mirror Friend

It’s easier to have a friend help you, but you can measure yourself in front of a mirror.  It’s a great idea to keep a pad and pencil to write down your measurements as you go.

Some rules of thumb:

  1.  When you measure, don’t wear shoes.
  2. Measure next to your skin or in your undies.
  3. Keep your feet flat on the floor.
  4. Take each measurement 2 or 3 times.
  5. Include any fraction of an inch and always round up to the next inch.
  • Remember — Don’t Inhale.
  • Make sure the tape stays LEVEL or your reading won’t be accurate.
